Today, I Voted For Cloud Strife For President Of The USA
See Full ImageOkay, no I didn't. But can you imagine what sort of president Cloud would make? Or maybe pick your own video game character to lead...
Let's see, Cloud would probably be pretty...um...quiet. You'd really have to force him to get up in front of large groups of people, and one can't be certain of his reading ability. But what he lacks as an orator he'll make up for with his very presence. Just seeing him stand on that podium would be an expression of power; it would be comforting and that image could make us all sleep well at night. Hell, it should probably go on the one-dollar bill.
He'd make a pretty good politician because his memory is a little hazy. That's important. "Wait, what exactly happened at Nibelheim? Did I do something? Or do I have to get revenge for something someone else did?" Yeah, that fits perfectly. Plausible deniability when it comes to big-time international flaps. And hey, here's the best part- Who needs the armed forces? It isn't necessary to send thousands to their deaths; just get a half-dozen super-powerful people to aid Cloud, make sure he's got a big-ass sword, and just let them go. We'll sit back and watch and try not to get in the way. "Over there! Bad guys went thataway!"
Last but not least, Cloud Strife stands behind his convictions. He gets the job finished. ...and he has Omnislash. Win.

I feel really good about voting today, the election is called, it's all done and it feels good to stand up and be counted after all the hooplah and nonsense.
Game character for prez? Elena Fisher. She's adventurous but still thoughtful and careful, has people's best interests at heart, and is a strong woman.
