GTAV Will Feature Three Protagonists
It has been long since rumored that Grand Theft Auto V will feature multiple main characters. And now we learn that it's true.
As we all know by now, the December issue of Game Informer will boast a huge feature on the anticipated blockbuster (18 pages!), and they've given us a peek.
There will be three protagonists in GTAV: One is apparently an "East Coast gangster" while another has been seen in previous promos. The third is unknown for the time being. This will be the first entry in the long-running franchise to boast more than one main character; each has really only included one...and we all know who they are. Personally, I'm partial to Tommy Vercetti in Vice City.
More information on GTAV is inevitable, so stay tuned.

reminds me of yakuza 4, having multiple main characters just convoluted the story and makes it that much harder to tie everything together.
im very weary of this, it just seems like R* is trying to be a little too not only ambitious, but also “series first” if that makes sense.
im worried their biting off more than they can chew.

With that said, it would be cool if the character stories are intertwined and you see things happening from different views at different points in the game. I have faith that Rockstar will do this game right. With the exception of the dark, grittiness of GTA4, I have loved every game that Rockstar has had a hand in. I still liked GTA4, it's just not at the top of my list.

whats the point of having multiple stories if there not going to intertwine?
just seems like a wasted added effort.
regardless though, point is having multiple stories is just creating more work for them and for what?
if it was going to make the game better than ok, but i cant see that, all i see is making it worse.
