Well, Of Course The New Call Of Duty Is Coming To PS3, 360
If we told you that a new Call of Duty would arrive in late 2013 and it would be available for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, would you be surprised?
Probably not, right? According to NowGamer, developer Sledgehammer Games (which worked with Infinity Ward on last year's Modern Warfare 3) is currently seeking a Senior Environment Artist.
The job description says the successful candidate must have a "desire to work on the most successful FPS franchise in the history of video games" - gee, wonder what that could be - and that the role will require the creation of single-player and multiplayer levels. It also says this person must make levels that work on "all relevant platforms" such as the Xbox 360 and PS3. Well...duh. I mean, even if the new CoD was released for a next-gen console like the PS4 or Xbox 720, did you really think there'd be any chance Activision would pass up a 160 million PS3/360 userbase...? Impossible. They kinda need that massive audience to rake in their billion dollars.
The only question now is whether or not the next Call of Duty installment will be made for either of the upcoming next-gen systems, or if it will only be generated for the current machines.
