Hitman HD Trilogy Set For January?
If you can't get enough of the bald bad-ass assassin, there's an upcoming collection you'll definitely want to own.
Although it hasn't been officially confirmed just yet, the Hitman HD Trilogy has showed up at Amazon; there are listings for both the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, and the retail price is set at an agreable $39.99.
Evidently, this compilation will include Hitman 2: Silent Assassin, Hitman: Contracts, and Hitman: Blood Money. So if you've already played and enjoyed the recently released Hitman: Absolution but missed out on previous iterations, this comes as good news, right? Just bear in mind that earlier Hitman installments were very heavy on the stealth, in that you really didn't have much of an option. It was either go stealthy or die, for the most part. But if that's precisely the type of challenge you crave, well...
By the way, they should also release a Premium Edition of the Trilogy, which will include a cool art book with 22 pieces of never-before-seen re-imaginings of various moments from the three featured titles. Oddly, this also has a price tag of $39.99.

Actually, and I know this is asking a lot, I would love to see an HD Collection of the previous games' missions taking place in chronological order, since 'Contracts' and 'Blood Money' jump about the timeline quite a bit ('Asylum Aftermath' in 'Contracts' taking place immediately after the end of 'Codename 47', 'Curtains Down' in 'Blood Money' taking place immediately before 'Contracts').

been waiting SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO long for this, and its been rumored for so long i was starting to think it was never going to come!
its sad how we have to look back to classics to get our gaming fix, what does that say about todays industry?
when you have fans looking forward to HD remakes more than you do a new game you know your doing something wrong!

Anyway, I'm wondering if, like with the 'Splinter Cell Trilogy', we'll get the PC versions, which (aside from the 360 version of 'Blood Money) are significantly superior to the console versions.
