Metal Gear Solid 4: 25th Anniversary Edition Hits Europe

No idea yet if this will be coming to North America or other regions, but it's a great option for our European friends.

As reported by Electronic Theatre, the Metal Gear Solid 4: 25th Anniversary Edition is now available in PAL territories for the low price of £19.99 GBP.

This is widely recognized as being one of the very best games of the generation and if you missed out, now's the time to strike. This package includes an exclusive poster, rumble support for the Dual Shock 3 controller, full 5.1 Dolby Digital surround sound, more interactivity during the cut-scenes, and full Trophy support. Konami has released a downloadable update that delivers Trophies to those who already own the game, but the 25th Anniversary Edition eliminates the need for that update.

This is fantastic for those who didn't have a PS3 back in 2008, or for those who passed on the game and always wondered if they had made a mistake. Newsflash- You did, and now you gotta rectify the situation. Let's just hope this special edition comes stateside, too.

I didn't have surround sound when I played it way back when, did the original release not have 5.1 sound?

If this comes to the U.S. I might get it just for the added features, just because I loved it.

never really seen the point with re releases.
especially when they dont come with any DLC or anything.
so this comes with basically everything the original game has now, except a special poster?
is that really worth the extra cash they will charge for this?
MGS4 can be found for pretty dam cheap now, this is going to be allot more expensive and for what?
