The Scorchers DLC For RAGE: New Enemies, New Weapons

Time to expand upon one of the most underrated titles of the generation (or so we say).

New downloadable content, called "The Scorchers," is now available for id Software's RAGE, it's up for the Xbox 360 and PC and should be ready to go "later today" on PS3. For only $4.99 (or 400 Microsoft Points), this isn't a bad way to revisit the stunning post-apocalyptic world.

The Scorchers features an "all-new maniacal bandit clan," which cause all sorts of problems - they're trying to destroy the Wasteland - and require swift justice. You'll go into battle with "new brutally efficient weapons" and better yet, you'll explore previously undiscovered areas. This pack also boasts a new Ultra-Nightmare difficulty mode plus an Extended Play option that lets you move past the original ending of the game, thereby allowing you to finish collecting items and other goodies.

Sure, RAGE is over a year old but so what? It remains one of the more impressive and entertaining titles out there.

I'm glad to hear that you'll be able to go past the ending & claim goodies you got locked out of getting if you had left an town/area.

That was my 1 & only gripe in an otherwise great game.
