Fans Choose Alternate Cover Art For Bioshock Infinite
See Full ImageNot everyone liked the official box art for Bioshock Infinite. In fact, many downright hated it.
In response, developer Irrational Games offered to produce a reversible cover for the hotly anticipated title. They gave the community a half-dozen alternate art options, and the poll winner would be printed on the opposite side of the cover. Isn't that a nice gesture?
Well, the winner has been announced: With 38% of the total fan votes, the alternate art will feature the Songbird creature. However, if you don't like that cover, either, Irrational boss Ken Levine made it clear that gamers could print out the other optional covers. In fact, they said they'd make a few more new pieces of art, so you should have plenty of choices. If you're still not satisfied...well, tough. No matter what, we're all fairly convinced that Bioshock Infinite will be one of the very best games of the generation.
Just wondering, though- How important is box art to you? Is it something you really care about (say if you're a collector) or do you really not care in the slightest? Me, I only kinda care.

or even worse hurt the series sales, ie potential sequels.
bioshock is one of THE best new IPs of the generation, and it NEEDS all the support it can get!
if theres 1 game that deserves to knock COD off its porch, its this!
personally i preferred the original cover to this, really dont like the red background and its too close a shot of the songbird.
but eh, its a cover art ill probably see it once when i open the game and never see it again so who cares!
