Borderlands 2 Receives Support As Long As It Remains Popular
Borderlands 2 is easily one of the year's most popular games and provided it remains popular, developer Gearbox Software will continue to support it.
We've already seen multiple expansions for the critically acclaimed title, and another - Sir Hammerlock's Big Game Hunt - will release next month for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC. But that might not be the end for this addictive sequel.
In speaking to IGN, a 2K Games representative has said that both the developer and publisher would be willing to support Borderlands 2 as long as people keep playing it. That's an obvious hint that more DLC should be in the making and furthermore, they're talking about raising the level cap at some point in the first quarter of 2013. Right now, I believe that cap sits at 50 and we're sure a lot of hardcore fans would like to see that limit raised.
If you haven't played Borderlands 2 yet, you're missing out. Expect to see it nominated several times during our upcoming 2012 Game of the Year Awards... Stay tuned for those!

IMO, the 5th class (Mechromancer) is more than worth it's cost. Just a great overall game. Dollar/hour it's the greatest entertainment value I've ever experienced. Buy it NOW. Don't wait! :)
