Gran Turismo 5's New C7 Corvette Stingray Fully Revealed

At the end of November, Sony and Polyphony Digital gave Gran Turismo 5 aficionados an awesome new car to drive: Dubbed the C7 Test Prototype, it was a camouflaged mega racing machine.

Now, it's finally time for the unveiling. As of tomorrow, January 15, the hot new C7 Corvette Stingray will be available to download. For an in-depth look at the car that will capture the hearts of a great many car fanatics, head over to WOTAuto for all relevant info.

This slick vehicle boasts a Ferrari-like visage with a serious amount of power thanks to a small-block V8, 6.2L LT1, which generates 450HP and 450lbs. ft. of torque. Topping it off is a seven-speed manual gearbox from Tremec, although there is the option of an automatic six-speed with paddle shifters. so that is where arnold has been. i will have to check out that site more. i really like how this car looks. stingrays were always bad ass looking to me. i cant wait to add this car to my garage.

That is a sweet looking Corvette. I'll never get to drive one except for in the game, but it's cheaper that way and I'm into cheap thrills. I need to dust off my steering wheel accessory before taking it for a spin.

Sounds like you need a Vita, but that only helps with the boredom part. If you can't justify the purchase, do it anyway and your stress level may rise. That's killing two birds with one stone.

Nice looking vette..Maybe it's just me though, or I think it's because every car is using the same headlights now, but does the front end of that car look suspiciously like the new Viper?

The new C7 Corvette looks impressive, and handles very well. Glad to see at least one American auto manufacturer is starting to shy away from the point-and-squirt muscle cars of old, and give our cars a taste of the refined and silky-smooth European handling that their sports cars have had for decades.
