Resident Evil: Revelations Detailed, Dated For Consoles, PC
It'll be interesting to see how this game fares on consoles.
Resident Evil: Revelations initially launched as a Nintendo 3DS exclusive. But now we know the major consoles will soon be getting this horrific iteration come spring.
As announced at the Capcom-Unity blog, Revelations will hit the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii U, and PC on May 21 in the US (three days later in Europe) for the price of $49.99. You will also be able to download the game in digital format on the PS3 and PC if you so choose; it'll be downloadable on the 360 and Wii U at a later time. Obviously, the updated game will boast "enhanced" HD graphics and lighting (which will be appreciated), along with a host of features not found in the original 3DS adventure.
So expect a new Raid mode playable character (Hunk), a new enemy, and a harder difficulty for all you masochists out there. Franchise fans are definitely gonna want to try it.

It plays like RE4 (shooting mechanics), but it's generally slower in terms of pacing. The action sequences are limited to just a few segments. For the most part, you're doing the old routine of walking through corridors, back-tracking to get items and opening doors like in the old games.
So Revelations is actually a hybrid game. And it is a lot better than the last 3 that came out. Look it up (metacritic).

There are basically parts in the story where you play as Jill, these are all focused on horror and trying to scare you, then there are the parts where you play as other people or Chris, this is all focused on action.
Otherwise the game is fantastic and raid mode is addicting and a welcomed mode to the series.
It's similar to playing through the main game with different characters and different objectives with RPG elements.
Also, Capcom stated HUNK as a new raid mode character and 'other Resident Evil Characters', boy this has me so excited!
