Sly Cooper Demo Out Now, Animated Prequel Released

Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time is set to launch on February 5 but the anxious franchise followers might need a sneak peek.

First up is the playable demo, which is available now on the PlayStation Network, provided you're a PlayStation Plus member. If you're not a Plus subscriber, well, shame on you, and you have to wait a few days (January 29) to check out the demo.

Second is the new animated short film, which acts as a prequel to the fresh series installment: It's called "Sly Cooper and the Gang In: Timing is Everything," and you can view it below. It's five and a half minutes of patented Sly humor and entertainment, which is exactly what we want to see. You can definitely expect that same level of unique style and panache when the game in question comes out in just over a week's time. The wait is almost over!

Lastly, don't forget that the new Sly will be released for the Vita as well, and it'll take advantage of Sony's great Cross Buy promotion, so...

Hmm this game is probably going to be good. I just hope it isn't really really short.

such a shame that $ony finally brought back one of the most popular beloved playstation franchises, only to send it to its grave!
sigh, there goes the hopes for a syphon filter, medievil, getaway, jack and daxter, ape escape, ect, ect revival.
and $ony keep wondering why theve been hemorrhaging money ever since the ps3 released!
with genius decisions like this, its a miracle they dident go bankrupt years ago!

Um ...why would they go bankrupt when the PS3 has been turning a profit? Also they own movie studios as well as other ventures. Video games is not even the number one earner for Sony. I wonder about some of you people sometimes.

YOU wonder about some people?
dude, you do realize $ony have been posting FY losses EVERY SINGLE YEAR since the ps3 released, right?
only a matter of time, going the way they are, that they do go bankrupt.
