Videogamer: The Film In Production, Will Explore Innovation
It's time for gamers to get some respect. Perhaps the best way to do that is to target the strides the industry has taken and will continue to take.
Inaugural Films has announced on Kickstarter that their project "Videogamer: The Film" has entered production.
Focused on innovation, this documentary is inspired by creative developers and publishers in the industry, and it follows the adventures of Josh Craig and Jonathan Reynolds-Engel as they explore the ins and outs of the video game business during the course of a year. The film will involve developers, publishers, journalists and players and is "set to be a revolutionary film for the gaming industry, community, and everyone across the globe who considers themselves a "videogamer." This is very likely exactly what we need, especially with all the negative press after the Newtown tragedy.
Stay tuned for future updates on the project, which we hope is running along smoothly.

This smells not of "straight to DVD" but "straight to torrents".

turn it even more mainstream.
sometimes i wish it would just go back to the dark days, where playing games meant you lived in your mothers basement, and the term girl was some sort of ogre.
at least games were games back then!
and saying i finished one actually meant something!
