Bioshock Infinite Golden, Irrational Makes Bold Promises
The latest trailer once again had us begging for this hotly anticipated title.
And thankfully, we don't have to suffer through another disappointing delay. As Irrational Games co-founder Ken Levine wrote at the developer's blog, Bioshock Infinite has officially gone gold.
No more delays; the game will be on store shelves for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC on March 26. Said Levine:
"Nobody has ever built a game quite like this. It’s a shooter, but a shooter that brings you to very uncomfortable and dangerous places. I can’t demand that you play the game; I can promise you, however, that once you have, it will be an experience you won’t soon forget."
Yeah, those are bold statements but hey, this is Bioshock. If it's anything less than magnificent, we say something went terribly wrong. After being announced in August 2010, it was initially slated to launch in March 2012, then got pushed back to October 16, 2012, the was delayed until February 26, 2013. But we finally have a release date that sticks. And we can't wait.
