New Assassin's Creed Headed To "Next-Gen" Platforms?
You can't slip up even for a moment on the Internet. Sombody is always gonna see it and grab it.
Ubisoft has confirmed Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag, but they didn't provide us with any pertinent details, like a launch date. Nor have they talked much about the setting and gameplay; we only knew that it was slated to arrive for current-generation platforms.
However, in what appears to be a mistake, the publisher posted information for the upcoming title on a countdown site. That information has since been removed, but not before Gaming Everything grabbed the details. It seems the new AC will launch on October 29, 2013 and will be available for "next-gen" platforms. There will also be a collectible Todd McFarlane poster for those who pre-order.
If it does turn out to be a "generation-straddling" game, it won't be the first. Watch Dogs, Destiny and Diablo III have already been confirmed as coming to both the PS3 and PS4. And to have the new Assassin's Creed on the PS4 (perhaps for the system's release) could be very enticing to consumers.

Not sure if it's the game, or the fact that I'm super busy these days and have Madden, 2K13 and DCU that I also want to spend time on
