First Tomb Raider DLC Debuts This Month

The Tomb Raider reboot is a definite winner, which means you'll want to extend your excellent play experience as much as possible.

The first batch of downloadable content has been announced; it's a set of multiplayer maps that should hopefully spice up the least impressive aspect of the otherwise fantastic production.

The DLC, entitled "Caves and Cliffs," adds three multiplayer arenas: Scavenger Caverns, Cliff Shantytown and the Burning Village. It's assumed that Cliff Shantytown is different than the already available Shanty Town map. This content will debut on Xbox Live on March 19 for $4.99; as of yet, we don't have release dates or prices for the PS3 and PC versions of the game. That kinda sucks but it's enough to have the information at this point. Still, we have to hope that Crystal Dynamics will give us some single-player-related DLC... It's by far the best part of the game. Let's make it even better, shall we?

Lara Croft is back in a big way, peeps.

Haha, i would rather her wear a black skirt that is just high enough above the thighs to spark some imagination.

I think they almost have to provide her classic outfit as DLC.

Something tells me this was originally priced $14.99 but due to something was lowered to $4.99.

I really have no interest in the multiplayer aspect of this game at all, that's not why I play Tomb Raider. I really hope it's not asking too much for some single player DLC sometime in the next couple of months. A group of say 3 more tombs added to the game would be awesome.

this is EXACTLY why people get the shits when SP only games get MP!
well, one of the reasons.
why is it a franchise NEVER gets DLC, than when it gets MP only then can it get DLC?
what, who created the law that SP only games are not allowed to get DLC?
hmmmmmm?
come on, a DLC expansion pack leading us back towards the early part of the game, and filling in those more vulnerable survival feels the start of the game gives you would be SWEET!

I will solved your dilemma here, now, real quick.

Wide eyed girl gets hit in the head only to wake up, bound, upside down in a room with dead people, skulls and body parts laying around. She hurts herself getting free. Further exploration rams it home that her life is in jeopardy, serious danger. First of all Lara at her core is a fighter. Even before she decides to become a killing machine. The game is fantastic and your ridiculous negative points towards Tomb Raider are just blatantly false. You truly over analyze games and try to make it look like you know what you are talking about. This happens quite a lot. Lesson over, give up gaming please!

I was referring to your Tomb Raider review comments. About how she flicked the switch from wide eyed girl to kicking ass. Then you mention DLC which I interpreted as a means to letting us know how she made that journey. I may have been a little harsh but man do you nitpick great games.

Rather than an MP DLC, they should create a DLC where Lara revisits the re-imagine Peru levels from TR 1...A much harder version of it anyway

Mp dlc , who really cares ? There is a lot more people interested in some sp dlc , what about 1 that give tomb raider fan some real satisfaction like a big tomb with challenging puzzle and 1 with more action for those who like it as it is .

Personally i would buy both of those and there is no way i m paying for more mp map ( there should have been more from the get-go , 5 is a joke in any game ).
