Sample The "Bro" Goodness Of The Devil's Cartel On March 12
If the game is all about cooperative action, shouldn't the demo reflect that focus?
Good news: A playable sample for this month's Army of Two: The Devil's Cartel arrives on the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Marketplace next week. And fittingly, that demo supports the game's awesome two-player co-op mechanic.
According to the EA press release, you and a friend will adopt the roles of private military contractors Alpha and Bravo respectively. The mission is to rescue a kidnapped politician while at the same time diffusing a tense hostage situation. Environments include a drug lab and a hectic rooftop scene, and you'll have to work together if you wish to survive. Each of you will have specific tasks to perform throughout the mission, which will give you an idea of what to expect when the game launches on March 26.
This should be the most polished and entertaining Army of Two yet. At least, that's what we're hoping.
