PS3 News: Fighting Classics Battle Onto Japanese Store

Fighting Classics Battle Onto Japanese Store

Some of the best classics are fighters, and SNK Playmore and Arc System Works were responsible for more than a few of those. To all you fans out there, if you don't have a PS3, you might want to look into this: today, the Japanese Store was updated with no less than 11 great classic titles, most of which are 2D fighting gems.

The full list looks like this-

  • Guilty Gear (Arc System Works)
  • Spectral Tower (Idea Factory)
  • Spectral Force 2 (Idea Factory)
  • Suna no Embrace (Idea Factory)
  • The King of Fighters '95 (SNK Playmore)
  • The King of Fighters '96 (SNK Playmore)
  • The King of Fighters '97 (SNK Playmore)
  • Samurai Spirits Kenkaku Yubinan Pack (SNK Playmore)
  • Real Bout Fatal Fury Special Dominated Mind (SNK Playmore)
  • Little Princess Marl Oukoku no Ningyouhime 2 (Nippon Ichi)
  • Septentrion (Hamster)

Each game is playable on both the PS3 and PSP, and priced at 600 yen. We don't know if these will eventually make their way to the U.S. Store, but hey, that's what an alternative account is for... Not that we necessarily condone such a thing, we're just saying.
