Plus Members Get The Cave, Tekken 6 Totally Free This Week

It's good to be a PlayStation Plus member, isn't it?

You got Joe Danger 2: The Movie added to the Instant Game Collection last week, and now it's time to talk about more freebies for Plus peeps.

As revealed over at the PlayStation Blog, we're first reminded that for every $50 you spend on the PSN, you get $10. You have to strike soon to take advantage, though, as this promotion ends when March is over. Additionally, two great games are now free for Plus members: The first is the recently released and well-received puzzle/adventure game from Double Fine Studios, The Cave. It's $14.99 if you're not a Plus member. The other game is Tekken 6, which is for the PSP and supported on the Vita. This one goes for $19.99 if you haven't signed up for Plus.

Golf fans shouldn't forget about the 25% discount Plus members will enjoy for the Hot Shots Golf: World Invitational Course and Character pack; it now only costs $8.99. Lastly, there's a 40% discount for Rocketbirds: Hardboiled Chicken, so there are multiple reasons to sign on this week.

Last week also saw Spec Ops: The Line for free, I downloaded it and wow is it a terrible piece of crap, I can't believe it saw any 8s.

Cave looks lame, I'll nab Tekken 6 though!

The same could be said about Journey.

Wow, that is so funny, I have heard exactly the opposite about Spec Ops The Line. I haven't played it yet, but I have downloaded it. Different strokes for different folks I guess.

Depends on your taste, I was hoping for a competent military TPS and I got a generic shooter that played out like a straight-to-video action movie complete with bad script and dialogue. Nolan North is always entertaining at least.

my psn store marker stopped above the Spec Ops FREE icon. After a slight pause I figured it wasn't worth the time even just to claim the purchase as part of my account. Sometimes i do that 'just in case' I ever decide to play the game. But not Spec Ops hehehe

PS+ is the best service on the internet, period! Cannot wait to get the Cave and Tekken 6 for the Vita. I was going to buy The Cave for the WiiU but no Off-TV Play FTL!!!!!

I bought 2 games in March so I will be seeing a $20 credit some time in April that I will more than likely use on Star Trek! Man, I hope it's good, so excited as I LOVE Star Trek 11!!! Injustice as well, oh crap, wallet crying!

Tomorrow is DOA5+ and Tekken 6 for me. Apparantly DOA5+ is getting a demo soon too.
