Guitar Hero 3 Partial Track List Unveiled

We know you all love Guitar Hero, and the third installment will make a huge splash. Neversoft, the new developers for the franchise, have said they're planning to include a set of tracks that will appeal to fans of old and modern rock, which in turn should interest a wider variety of gamers.

Well, that's pretty obvious in looking at the partial list of tracks, recently unveiled by the team. Check it out:

• Paint It Black, The Rolling Stones
• Cherub Rock, Smashing Pumpkins
• Sabotage, Beastie Boys
• The Metal, Tenacious D
• My Name is Jonas, Weezer
• Knights of Cydonia, Muse
• Rock And Roll All Nite, Kiss
• School’s Out, Alice Cooper
• Slow Ride, Fog Hat
• Cult of Personality, Living Colour
• Barracuda, Heart
• Lay Down, Priestess
• Evenflow, Pearl Jam

We expect to see more songs over the next few weeks, and so far, it's looking really good. We've got everything from the Beastie Boys to Kiss, here, so there is already a good semblance of diversity. Let's hope for an even bigger variety of classic and modern rock! Go Neversoft!
