Deadly Premonition: Director's Cut Hits PS3, PSN On April 30
If you're looking for something a little freaky, you might want to give this a try.
Rising Star Games Inc. has announced Deadly Premonition: The Director's Cut, which will launch exclusively for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Network on April 30 in North America. Scared yet?
The horrific title debuted on the Xbox 360 back in February of 2010 and was generally well-received. But it was one of those games that was all over the critic board; i.e., it suffered a 2 out of 10 at Machinima but landed a perfect 10 out of 10 at Destructoid. Anyway, The Director's Cut features a bunch of additions and improvements that should make this effort the definitive version of Deadly Premonition. Check 'em out:
New Scenario - Surprising new scenario from the game's director, Hidetaka "Swery" Suehiro that will please new and hardcore fans alike
HD graphics - complete graphic overhaul with new HD textures
Improved Controls - reworked control system and mappable controls allow for an even better combat experience
Downloadable content - Expand the mystery beyond the original game and let Agent York (and Zach) live it up in Greenvale - Details TBA...
Okay, so action has replaced much of the horror in your favorite scary franchises. But at least you can still turn to titles like this, right?
