Dragon's Crown: Retro Adventuring Is Back In Style This Summer
Ready for some old-school side-scrolling hackin' and slashin' fun? I know I am.
Atlus has announced that Vanillaware's latest retro project, Dragon's Crown, will be available exclusively for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita in North America this summer. It will retail for $49.99 and $39.99 for the PS3 and Vita respectively, and it will arrive in both physical and digital format.
Vanaillaware is the team that brought you Odin Sphere and Muramasa: The Demon Blade, and Dragon's Crown might remind gaming veterans of the arcade smash hit, Golden Axe. In the new adventure, players choose one of six distinct characters (The Fighter, The Dwarf, The Amazon, The Wizard, The Elf or The Sorceress) and then they will set out to battle all sorts of nasties in the fantasy world of Hydeland. It's recommended that you play with a friend or two (up to four players or AI allies can accompany you), although you should be reminded that cross-platform play is not supported.
