Fatal Frame Haunts PSN This Week
If you ask true horror aficionados to name their favorite video games, there's a good chance that this title will be on the list.
Even though we don't have the official press release just yet, it was revealed during the latest PlayStation Blogcast that the creepy PS2 game from Tecmo, Fatal Frame, will become a PS2 Classic on the PSN this week.
The game followed the first adventure of Miku, a young girl who can see ghosts. Her brother was also blessed with the same ability but he has mysteriously disappeared, and Miku sets out to find him. She tracks him to a freakish old mansion where she finds her mother's Camera Obscura, a device that captures wandering souls on film. It's a really intriguing concept and it was done very well; future installments in the series were pretty good, too, but many will claim the original was the best. Or perhaps the scariest.
And in a generation where honest-to-goodness horror seems to have fallen by the wayside, the arrival of such a title on the Network should come as good news to many.
