You'll Never Have Too Much Cash In GTAV

Oh man, I remember running around with gobs of cash in Grand Theft Auto. There was just never enough stuff to buy!

But it seems that will no longer be an issue in GTAV. According to ShackNews citing a variety of sources, players will actually have to save each and every dollar if they want to purchase the big-ticket items.

And that's because there will be a lot of expensive goodies. First on the list is property; you could purchase property in past GTAs, but they didn't cost anywhere near enough. Plus, there are "higher-end guns and vehicles," which will require much more in the way of cash, and oh yeah, fighter jets are kinda pricey, too. Of course, you earn money by pulling off heists and performing other dastardly deeds, but that won't be the only way to earn some bank.

For instance, you can try deep sea diving. Exploring the underwater depths will let you discover sunken cargo ships filled with loot, or even old cave systems with unknown treasures. It should also be added that for some heists, you'll want to hire some AI buddies to assist, and you'll have to buy corresponding vehicles, weapons and even disguises. So you'll be spending money like a fiend. And that makes sense.

Here's my only problem with the latter- GTA has always been about a lone wolf involved in a city war. I do not want to be forced into RTS-like situations...I really, really don't. But I love the new ways to earn and spend cash; it all sounds very dynamic.

Cool. Assassin's Creed 2 had the same problem.

Every bit of info I read about this game gets me more hyped up to play it, but I think I'll wait on the PS4 version though. I'm a bit disappointed that they didn't bring back the gym to build ur character, and learn new fighting styles...
Or the dating system I really liked that feature in GTA: SA and IV

That may or may not be included. They┬┤re not "new" stuff. I liked the dating system as well in GTAIV, the problem was that GTAIV had only like 3 characters you could go out with if I remember well. I can see dating at least 15 different ones this time.

As bad as this sounds I don't really recall how much money I've ever had. I just know when I saw something and I needed money for it, I'd beat up pedestrians..lol. When that got tired I'd do a side mission.

yah, but the first time around playing before beating the game, cheats will prevent you from getting some trophies like in GTAIV did.. and not to mention that part of your money will be wasted if you indeed put cheat codes in before beating the game first.

This might be the first game where I do like a ton of people did in Skyrim, never play the missions and just roam the world.

Sounds like a pain, it's GTA, I'd rather punch in the cheat and go nuts.

I'm a little wary - sounds like an excuse to introduce micro-transactions.

I think if the game was being published by EA or Activision using real money to by in-game money would definitely be something they'd be considering!

i'm a lone wolf, as long as were "not" forced to drag around AI buddies
most of the time, i'll be fine with that. if not, i'll try and find a way around it :)

like others on here, i'm getting the gta sa vibe also

Excellent. To have stuff to save up for and look forward to is awesome, and if there even are stuff left to be bought even after the main story is over, well that'd be a dream come true if you ask me.
