E3 2013: PS3 Keeps Going Strong With Exclusive Software

Before they dive into the PlayStation 4 during their E3 press conference, Sony would like to remind everyone that the PS3 still has a lot left to offer.

They're currently showing off a great display of upcoming exclusive software, and we're checking out The Last Of Us, Gran Turismo 6, Beyond: Two Souls, Puppeteer and Rain.

They also say The Last Of Us is one of the highest rated PS3 games of all time, and is the highest rated of all of 2013 thus far. One can't forget that despite the onset of the new generation, the current systems still have plenty of titles on the way. Of course, we still wonder what might be coming in 2014 that won't be available on the next-gen consoles, which might entice consumers to jump in earlier than anticipated.

It seems likely that the transition between PS3 and PS4 will be more abrupt than in generations past, but that doesn't mean you want to pass on stuff like Beyond. I mean, that'd be a big mistake, wouldn't you say?

Had to watch the presser on Game Trailers and the Xbots are trolling heavily on the comment sections.

It's not unusual for QD to mix things up in this way (Indigo Prophecy), I don't think much of the game will be tactical but maybe they thought it was a good idea to make the game appeal to more people to show that part.

gotta love it how david cage constantly sh*ts on military games, then has the gazpacho to show off that trailer.
hypocrite!
speaking of upcoming ps3 games, no the last guardian, and no agent.
why am i not surprised?
sigh.
funny, the ONLY game called vapourware, FFVXIII, was the only game that actually showed up today.
oh the irony, the irony of it all!
well, i wont say i told you so!
again..........

I also need Last Guardian details and worried that there has been no game from the ICO makers since PS2. When did the last gueardian start developement and waht percentage of completion is the game at?
There's still many games for the PS3 to come which makes me want the PS4 to wait a year but obviously can't if xbox one is out this fall too.

I can wait for a long time for the PS4. Beyond, TLOU and my backlog of games that I am still getting through, plus others I want to check out that are already out will keep me entertained for years. I'll wait at least two, maybe three years before getting a PS4. However, it does look awesome so far. My interest is piqued.
