Levine On Bioshock Infinite DLC: Don't Worry, It's Coming
Of all the extra downloadable content that might arrive this year, we probably want the Bioshock Infinite DLC most.
Unfortunately, as was the case with the game, we have to accept that fact that quality takes time. We must be patient. Irrational Games creative director Ken Levine has offered an update on the upcoming DLC via Twitter and he politely asks everyone to understand the process.
"DLC Update: We are working on it--have been since the game shipped. Things are going well, but plz understand: game development takes time."
Levine wouldn't divulge any hints at this time but that's okay. When it comes to story-driven DLC, we prefer to remain in the dark. However, there have been rumors that the first batch of new content will feature a new AI companion, which sounds intriguing. If you've got the game, you might want to consider purchasing the $20 DLC Season Pass that will net you all three upcoming DLC packs. For a masterpiece like this, it's worth it.
