Saints Row IV One Million Dollar Pack Goes For...Yes, $1 Million

Collector's and Limited Editions can be expensive. But nothing - nothing - can top this.

A little while back, Deep Silver announced the fan-generated Super Dangerous Wub Wub Edition for the upcoming Saints Row IV. It features lots of gamer-selected goodies and will retail for $99.99.

But maybe that's not good enough for you, Mr. Money Bags. Maybe you're willing to spring for a package that's 10,000 times more expensive. It's the Super Dangerous Wad Wad Edition, also known as The Million Dollar Pack and yes, it retails for $1 million. There's one such package available from GAME, if you're interested. Your million bucks nets you the Commander in Chief version of the game, along with a full day of spy training, a trip to space via Virgin Galactic, a one year's membership in the E25 Super Car Club and, to go along with that membership, a Lamborghini Gallardo.

But wait, that isn't it. You also get plastic surgery of the purchaser's choice, a shopping spree with a personal shopper, seven nights for two at the Jefferson Hotel in Washington DC, a "hostage rescue experience" (not even sure I want that), a new Toyota Prius, and another seven-night stay the Royal Suite of the Burj-al-arab with flights for two. If you purchase all this, it will be delivered in a "truly presidential style" and I gotta see that. I hope they record it and put it up on YouTube.

Of course, there are tons of rules and disclaimers. For instance, there are no cash alternatives and the publisher's decision is "final in every situation." The company also holds the right to remove or amend certain parts of the bundle. ...is anyone else just...aghast? I mean, holy crap.

If I was the winner of your biggest ever lottery win in the states I'd pony up the $1mil for this.

That said, the publisher retaining the right to change it would be a worry. Instead of all that you just get the game, a prius and a 1 week stay in Blackpool, UK....

Anybody out there who have the extra time, would love to crunch in the numbers for us and indeed check to see if it is worth the money? I guess it's not a big deal since if I had a million I would choose to spend it my way and with family.. but that trip to space via Virgin Galactic sounds like an exciting thrill, it's giving me chills just thinking about it.

And yet if you bought all the stuff in that set individually, it would only cost you less then $700,000.

Well, duh. The publisher is still out to make money, yes?

And if you can afford $700,000, you can probably afford $1 million.

Glad I had that $1 million floating around in the console of my car. I was wondering what to use that on. Not that I'd spend it on something worthwhile, or anything...

Realistically, if i ever spent that much money on gaming, it will have been over the course of a lifetime - and even then I don't imagine I'll even get close. That package needs to be scrubbed and simply offer the game for free with a $1 million donation to a noble cause - provided someone has that kind of money. *cough*onedirectionjustinbieber*cough*

If I had won any of the recent big powerball jackpots then I would definitely consider this, just for the trip into space alone, but of course I have not won powerball as of yet so this one is just a little out of my range by about $999,935 ;)
