Joe Danger Developer's Studio Has Been "Totally Flooded"
Well, that must suck.
The day before Christmas, and Joe Danger developer Hello Games gets a flood as a holiday present. A big storm moved through the UK and as a result, the studio in Guildford got completely flooded and unfortunately, the team lost a lot. As they said on their Twitter page:
"Oh god. Water moves really quick. Hello Games has been totally flooded," the studio wrote. "Everything in the office has pretty much been lost :("
They added that a life-size cardboard cutout of Joe Danger went floating past them face down and "Poor Joe, he's taking this the worst." Looks like they've at least got a sense of humor about the mess, and they finished by saying they're "leaving now and letting firemen help real people (all the houses around us with kids and xmas)." Yeah, that's probably a good idea.
Joe Danger was one of the absolute best downloadable games of the PS3 generation and although not quite as incredible, Joe Danger 2: The Movie was great fun as well. The team just recently announced their new ambitious project, No Man's Sky, for the PlayStation 4. Here's hoping this event doesn't delay things too long. Good luck, guys!
