Cat's Out Of The Bag, Ubisoft Should Just Announce Far Cry 4
It really isn't a matter of "if" at this point.
Far Cry is one of Ubisoft's leading franchises. It always scores well with critics and it's typically a hot seller, too. Therefore, it'd be silly to think they won't produce a fourth entry.
We've seen enough evidence by now; why not just announce it, Ubisoft? The latest evidence comes courtesy of Joystiq citing a LinkedIn profile for a Ubisoft Shanghai employee. Clearly listed on his resume is "the next Far Cry." Then, GameSpot reminded us of a statement from "Drive" composer Cliff Martinez, who said last October he was "working on a video game called Far Cry 4."
This is all after Ubisoft marketing executive Tony Key promised fans that a fourth iteration was in the works. Okay, so now let's see the official details. We can't wait to see it running on next-gen systems; this franchise will really benefit from that extra power. Think of the crazy exotic world Ubisoft could create...!
