First BF4 Community Mission: Round Up 10 Million Dog Tags

Wow. That's a lot of dog tags.

The very first DICE Community Mission for Battlefield 4 has begun, as revealed at the developer's official website. The goal: 10,000,000 dog tags!

That's right; this mission asks the BF4 community to collectively snag 10,000,000 dog tags, the caveat being that each tag must be acquired via melee kill. Players have until February 11 at 8 a.m. PDT to make good; if they do, they'll receive a special gold battlepack on February 20. This Mission is available on all platforms and if you want to check everyone's progress, just visit the Battlelog through the "Missions" tab.

This is part of "Player Appreciation Month," announced by EA in January. It's basically one big apology to everyone for the multitude of multiplayer issues BF4 has faced since its launch. Well, at least they're trying to say "we're sorry."

Sad a great dev like dice that cares about their fans and quality has now been EA'd , its still a great game imo its always worked fine and was fun , but alot of fans are outraged with how it performed upon console release and feel this is a way ea and dice are compensating for that... it is a slap in the face ... oh wow only 10million dogtags for a whole battleback? Gee let me get on that ! Sarcasm, anyway i love the game and it works fine for me do feel bad for the early adopters that struggled , some people are too critical though.

I'm enjoying the game immensely and will for some time. I appreciate what they're trying to do. Yes there were definitely issues with the game but i've not had many terrible issues. I'd say the what they should do to say sorry is to get rid of Hainan Resort!!! Lmao. That would be a perfect apology! Stupid ass map. lol
