Arkham Origins Blackgate Deluxe Edition Lands On Consoles

If you don't have a PlayStation Vita, you've got another chance to play it this week.

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Entertainment have announced that a Deluxe Edition for Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate is available today via digital download for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii and PC. It'll release tomorrow in Europe and international territories for PS3, and later in the month for Wii U.

Priced at $19.99, this former Vita exclusive is the perfect companion game to Batman: Arkham Origins, and it offers a unique 2.5D presentation and engaging gameplay. Players have to fight their way through Blackgate prison utilizing a fresh navigational system; it plays much differently than the console Batman adventures. We outlined a few problems in our Vita review but otherwise, it was still fun to play.

For twenty bucks, it's probably worth checking out on consoles.

Here's hoping Origins Blackgate for the Vita is discounted on this week's PS Store update.

I thought this was a perfect game for the Vita. I had a lot of fun, just a little too much back-tracking but at least there was a reason to go back with your new gadgets to get areas you previously couldn't access.

If you never played it, we'll worth the 20 beans.
