The Art Of Naughty Dog Celebrates Three Decades Of Greatness

Now this is worth owning.

Believe it or not, talented developer Naughty Dog has been around for 30 years. It's not easy to stick around for that long in such a ridiculously competitive industry.

But it helps that they've produced some of the finest video games in history. And now, the studio has teamed up with publisher Dark Horse Comics to produce "The Art of Naughty Dog," a beautiful collection of rarely-before-seen character designs, renders, and various concept artwork from the designer's catalog. The book runs the full gamut: From the early days and Jak and Daxter, up until last year's The Last Of Us.

They'll hold a launch event for this book later in the year, and we don't have a price just yet. But if you're a fan of Naughty Dog's work, you should definitely consider rewarding them for three decades of nigh-on unparalleled achievement.

Me too! But... There can only be one manly beard 'round here. Looks like you're gonna have to go...

I agree with Big Boss. I enjoy the Uncharted games and The Last of us was good (not as brilliant as everyone makes it out to be though, but still in it's own league) but I'm not all over them as most people are.

I tried playing Jak and Dax many times and it just wasn't floating my boat. However I won't take from them being top tier developers, but as much as I love the Uncharted series, it's basically the same game on repeat and TLoU had many technical flaws that I hope get patched up in the new version for next gen consoles.

Have to admire their 30yrs in the biz though.
