Free Ghosts Multiplayer Demo Hits PS3, PS4 This Weekend

Still haven't tried out the multiplayer action in Call of Duty: Ghosts? Well, how does the word "free" sound?

As announced over at the PlayStation Blog, the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 will host a free Ghosts multiplayer demo.

That's right, between May 2 and May 5, PSN users will get access to three of the game's multiplayer maps as well as three gameplay modes (you gotta check out Search and Rescue). You can even play the first episode of the popular co-op game type, Extinction, where players fight off waves of increasingly difficult aliens in a small Colorado town. There's a reason why millions continue to have fun with CoD online, so why not log in and check it out?

Okay, so what if you're not a fan? No harm in giving it a go, right?

I've only ever played this game on the 360 and mw2 on the ps3 for like 30 minutes. I'll give this a try on my ps4. And not the MP, but the aliens mode thing.

Survival so fun.

Not worth the hard drive space.

The game must not be doing to well. The last COD I played was Black Ops 1, so I might download this and give it a try

if you haven't tried ghosts yet you may be disappointed - gone are the high paced adrenaline fused maps of yesteryear - now its about a bunch of spineless jessies dressed in ghillie suits and hiding in the corner for you to run by or sniping from across the map which now means you have to creep around clearing corners and slows the game right down. Its pretty boring to be honest. Even with its issues BF4 is a better FPS offering this time around.

On the PS Store in the UK, it's on "offer" on Plus, down from £49.99 to £39.99...

The UK 'offers' are laughable to say the least. It's a shame, something I love on Steam is the great sales they have. Wish that carried over to the PS Store.
