Trials Fusion, Minecraft Among The Top PSN Games For April

What were the top games on the PlayStation Network in April?

The best-sellers can be found over at the PlayStation Blog; notably, Trials Fusion led the way on the PlayStation 4 and Minecraft continued to sit in the #1 spot for the PS3.

Retro City Rampage was atop the Vita's list and as for downloadable content, the Call of Duty: Ghosts Onslaught expansion was tops for both the PS4 and PS3. It's interesting that Octodad: Dadliest Catch was #2 on the PS4 list, beating out the likes of Child of Light and inFamous: Second Son. ...maybe that game is a lot better than I think it is, I dunno.

Anyway, here are the top 10 lists for the PS4, PS3 and Vita:

PS4 Games

  • Trials Fusion
  • Octodad: Dadliest Catch
  • Child of Light
  • Infamous Second Son Limited Edition
  • Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn
  • Trials Fusion Digital Deluxe Edition

  • Strike Suit Zero: Director’s Cut
  • Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes
  • Outlast

PS3 Games

  • Minecraft: PlayStation 3 Edition
  • Tokyo Jungle
  • Back to the Future: The Game
  • Jurassic Park: The Game
  • Braid
  • Plants vs. Zombies
  • Tales of Monkey Island
  • Gotham City Impostors
  • “Sam & Max” The Devil’s Playhouse
  • Urban Trial Freestyle

PS Vita Games

  • Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster

Tried the Child of Light demo today for the first time. Gotta say. It's pretty dang awesome. It surprised me by how much I liked it. Didn't see this response from me coming.

nice to see octodad and trials up there, hopefully this means will see more publishers confident in funding these types of games.
id love to see another octodad game, you cant play that game and not go awwwwwwwww hes so cute!
it just needs to be more in depth, a greater deeper sense of gameplay.
its the perfect example of why i hate buying PSN games, your left with a sense of is that all?
just feels like they could of done SO much more with it!
same goes for trials fusion, actually the last one trials evolution was WAY better a game!
controls felt much more sensitive and finicky, but not in a bad thing thats trials challenge and charm.
even the corse layout felt so much more ambitious and granular, constantly i was getting a sense of vertigo and saying oh god i cant believe hes doing that, its so cool!
fusion though is pretty much, eh, is that all?
HATE it when games force you to go back and complete earlier levels to progress too, i paid for the WHOLE f*cking game, so i should be able to play ALL of it!
massive difficulty spike too i went from golding every single level besides the 2nd last world, to getting to the last world having to repeat each section 5 times and struggling to get bronze.
bit of a issue when you go from christ this is so easy a freaking toddler can do it, to flat out fail!
