Konami of Europe Gets a New Name

Konami of Europe has announced that as of today, it will be known as Konami Digital Entertainment GmbH. Konami has been restructuring and the new title is supposed to represent the unification of the company's many divisions.

"These are exciting times for Konami," commented Kunio Neo, President for Konami Digital Entertainment GmbH. "We have a hard-earned reputation for producing cutting edge titles and stand on the cusp of a new era of video games as new formats are launched."

The change will take affect at the start of Konami's new financial year will cover Konami's existing core business of console and PC titles, arcade games, mobile phone releases, as well as new additions.
