PS3 News: Bug Prompts Removal of MediEvil Off Euro PSN

Bug Prompts Removal of MediEvil Off Euro PSN

Disgruntled gamers over in Europe have been out and about over a bug that prevents you from playing the PSOne classic, MediEvil, past the third stage. Sony has officially removed the game from the PlayStation Network and has asked current owners of the download to delete it. Once the game is put back up, affected owners will be able to re-download the game at no cost.

Unfortunately, Sony has not issued a time of arrival for the fixed re-release, so the wait is unknown. Likewise, Sony is also hearing complaints regarding audio problems in Spyro the Dragon 2, but they've yet to pull it. My money is on the Spyro issues just being related to emulation, and not so much a problem with the software itself, so a removal of Spyro 2 will likely not happen.
