EA Confirms Third FIFA Street Entry

Just about every sport receives a refreshing twist with the likes of EA's Street series. Never simulated but always a ton of fun, EA has announced FIFA Street 3, scheduled to release for the PS3 and Xbox 360 some time next year. Both the NBA Street and NFL Street franchises have done extremely well over the past few years, even though FIFA Street hasn't really had the same impact amongst consumers.

The game was officially confirmed thanks to a press release, and we know it's in development by EA Canada. There are no other concrete details at this time, but eventually, we'll find out exactly where the game will be available: it was shown off behind closed doors at the Games Convention 2007 in Leipzig last week, so we're pretty certain it will arrive in Europe. And while it may come a bit later, FIFA Street 3 should also come to North America; both previous titles did.

We'll let you know whenever EA decides to release more information for this one.
