PS3 News: EA To Kick Off FIFA 08 Demo Tomorrow

EA To Kick Off FIFA 08 Demo Tomorrow

Come September 28, soccer fans everywhere will be able to purchase what EA is calling "the most coherent football game to date," but if you want to play it earlier, log on to the PlayStation Store tomorrow. According to Eurogamer, there will be a playable demo for FIFA 08 waiting!

As the site is obviously European, we can't be entirely sure if the demo will also arrive on the North American PlayStation Store, but at the very least, it will be coming for UK gamers. You'll be able to sample that new skill system we've heard so much about, in addition to experiencing deeper and more fluid physics and gameplay. Once the game releases, EA plans to follow up with plenty of online support, too, as they'll start to offer things like 5-on-5 matches where you control your player of choice on either side. Interactive online leagues make their return as well, so once you've schooled yourself in the single player mode, you really ought to log on and test your skills against others.

FIFA 08 is coming on the 28th for the PS3, Xbox 360, Wii, PS2, PSP, DS, and PC. And we'll be sure to update this story if the North American PlayStation Store won't see this demo tomorrow; we hope it's not only available in Europe, but you never know.
