Capcom Announces Street Fighter IV and More!

Update: Check out a high quality trailer of Street Fighter IV by clicking on PS3 videos!

Mark this year as one of the most momentous years for gaming. It's announcements like this one that keep making this job so worthy and awesome. After much anticipation and hype, Capcom finally delivers with their promises of bombshells.

Street Fighter 4 was officially confirmed at their press event in London just a few hours ago. A concept trailer was shown depicting the series' two most recognizable fighters exchanging some moves.

The current release date scheduled is more than a year away, which hopefully means we'll see it in time for the 2008 holiday season.

Also, Lost Planet was announced for the PlayStation 3, featuring everything that was found between the PC and Xbox 360 versions (all characters and downloadable content) on one Blu-Ray disc. Capcom says the PS3 version of Lost Planet will arrive earlier on in 2008 - so the wait isn't long.

Capcom also announced Dark Void, their all new sci-fi title for next-generation consoles. Not much is known about it yet, so stay posted for details. And Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo HD has been delayed into a 2008 release. Hopefully sometime in the first few months of the year.

Stay posted as we'll try to find any screens from the event.
