Pre-Order ProStreet, Get Special Unlock Code

These days, there's some clever incentive to pre-order a big-name title. The latest on that list is EA's Need for Speed: ProStreet, which is now available for pre-order in North America (and probably other territories, too). It's scheduled to arrive in the U.S. on November 14, and if you need a reason to pre-purchase the game, check this out-

Those who put their money down now will receive a special unlock code. This unlock code can be used at the official Need for Speed website, where you will be able to customize a Subaru Impreza WRX STi with the Bluprint Demo. You can take as much time as you like to trick that bad boy out, and once the release date rolls around, you can import your new ride directly into the game! Evidently, you can get this unlock code at "any major retailer," so yes, that includes your local game store. If you're fan of the long-running franchise, can you really afford to pass up the opportunity? You were going to buy the game, anyway, so if you just fork over five bucks early you can get a sweet ride well ahead of time.

Of course, we have no idea if you'll be able to customize that WRX in the same way you could tweak a car in the actual game. We would assume they're using the same tuning options, but you never know. Guess you'll have to pre-order to find out.
