Colin McRae Is PS3 Bound

Codemasters has announced that Colin McRae is headed to the next-gen in DIRT: Colin McRae Off-Road�. DIRT is currently in development for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC.

The game will inclide the series’ familiar point-to-point races and features all 12.4 miles of the Pikes Peak International through the Rocky Mountains of Colorado.

DIRT: Colin McRae Off-Road� will also offer a dedicated mode for European, International and Global rally championships featuring official 2WD, 4WD, Classic and RWD rally cars. Codemasters is also promising "a devastating new damage engine that ensures players experience every bump in the track, every loose rock, and every inch of shifting dirt" so you've got that to look forward to.

No exact release date was given, but the game is expected in stores in Spring 2007.
