PS3 News: Konami Issues PES2008 PS3 Patch

Konami Issues PES2008 PS3 Patch

Konami may not be "set up" for multi-platform development, but at least they're working to fix their most recent mistakes. As most soccer fans know, the PS3 version of Pro Evolution Soccer 2008 is nowhere near as good as the 360 version - this is what Konami was commenting on previously - so the publisher has prepared a patch for that inferior version.

If you boot up PES2008 today, you will notice a patch automatically downloads, and it's designed to solve those frequent online lag problems users have reported. Furthermore, it seems there is the possibility the patch might also fix the frame rate problems in the single-player game. Konami kept this patch secret and have yet to announce the official changes or updates it provides, but we assume players can figure it out for themselves once the patch is downloaded. It's not hard to notice if the game moves better, be it online or offline, right?

When and if Konami decides to release the full details of this patch, we'll be sure to update you. Until then, download the Pro Evolution Soccer 2008 patch and hope it makes the game a whole lot better.
