Folklore DLC Coming This Month

Folklore was loaded down with artistic creativity and ingenuity, and more is right around the corner. According to a recent post by the game's associate producer Eric Fong at the official PlayStation blog, two add-on packs are on the way! They will arrive some time this month and include packing costumes, all new Folk and a few extra quests.

The first pack is called "The Kidnapped Folk" and features a brand new outfit for Ellen, an added cannonball-attack Folk called Maximillian, and a prominent side-quest to boot. You will take Ellen and Keats on an adventure to recapture kidnapped Folk and regain the trust of Brumbear's soldiers. The second pack is "Bottom of the Sea," where you will travel to the Endless Corridor in the hopes of retrieving a "mysterious item" for Damona. You will also get a body suit for Keats and a new Folk called Phutcampus. There's a potentially endless number of Folk that Sony can dream up, so expect to see more downloadable content in the future!

We don't have exact release dates for either of these packs, but Fong did say they'd retail on the Store for $3.99 each or $5.99 for both. If you've already seen everything there is to see in Folklore and crave more, stay tuned for those release dates; they're definitely in December!
