Users Request Third-Person For UT3 PS3
Unreal Tournament 3Unreal has always been known for delivering the absolute best in first-person action; it's kinda like the franchise's calling card. However, you can't please everyone all the time with only one format, which is why we have those magical little things called "mods." Believe it or not, there are actually third-person mods for UT3 on the PC, and Epic can generate them for the PS3. All you have to do is say the word.
According to a recent thread over at the official forums, you third-person lovers can make your voices heard on the subject. Simply request the Anubans Fav Mutator Pack, and if enough of you speak up, Epic just might provide it for the PlayStation 3 version of the game. So if you're a big fan of games like Gears of War - Epic's other masterpiece - than make no bones about your preference; it could be very interesting to see what UT3 looks like from a brand new viewpoint. Heck, you can even request an over-the-shoulder view like the one we find in Resident Evil 5, so what are you waiting for? Epic isn't kidding around about this "fans come first" philosophy, you know.
When and if they decide to make the Mutator Pack available for the PS3, or any other mod for that matter, we'll be sure to let you know. In the meantime, don't be afraid to speak out on your ideas for making UT3 a fresher and more intriguing experience. It's all about customization at this point!
