FIFA PS3 Bound in 2007
German publications are reporting that EA's FIFA soccer franchise will make its debut on the PlayStation 3 sometime in 2007.Speaking at the Liepzig Games Convention this past week, Thomas Zeitner, president of EA Germany stated that the first FIFA game on PS3 will be FIFA 08 in the Autumn of 2007.
Apparently, the reason for the lengthy development cycle is that the development team didn't receive PS3 devkits in time to shoot for a late-2006 / early-2007 release window.
