PS3 News: Sony To Present LittleBigPlanet At CES 2008

Sony To Present LittleBigPlanet At CES 2008

Oh, there it is. We've been wondering where you wandered off to, little one.

Last year, PlayStation Home and LittleBigPlanet made quite the large splash when they were unveiled. Excited gamers have been pining for more details concerning the cooperative, multiplayer-based platformer, which was supposed to have arrived with Home last fall. But Sony was forced to delay the launch of their robust online service until this spring, and consequently, the cute and innovative title got pushed back along with it. But we haven't heard much about the game - Sony only gave us the "no news to report at this time" comment - in a while, and we were wondering when we'd get another look at it. The rumored demo doesn't appear to be on the horizon, but LittleBigPlanet will be on display at next week's Consumer Electronics Show. Sony will show it off along with the excellent Uncharted: Drake's Fortune and the PlayStation Eye.

Remember, LBP's debut was at E3 in July, so we'd certainly like to get another look at it. We're also hoping we get an actual release date at CES, too, and perhaps more updates regarding Home. Yeah, we might be hoping for too much, but that doesn't mean we have to stop hoping.
