GamePro Delivers More Vegas 2 Details
Looks like the city of sin is gonna have to get cleaned up again, which will be your task in the upcoming Rainbow Six Vegas 2. Yeah, we know what you're thinking: how different can it be? It's Rainbow Six, which doesn't change too much, and it's even back in the same environment! Oh, but GamePro says we can expect plenty of new additions and enhancements.
Their next magazine issue will give you all the intricate details, but in the meantime, they've released a summarized list of all the changes we'll find in Vegas 2. Check 'em out:
Gameplay additions
- A new Sprint option
- Bullet penetration (through walls and doors)
- Destructible cover (watch where you hide!)
- 11 new weapons
- Faster firing rate for all handguns
- One persistent player for online and offline play
- New way to unlock weapons and gear (more freedom)
- XP remains, adds specialized ACES points for weapon unlocks
Single-player enhancements
- New two-player, online cooperative play
- A new lead character for the single-player campaign (Logan is gone, Bishop is in)
- Enhanced AI and better-equipped enemies
Multiplayer enhancements
- New multiplayer mode: Team Leader
- New multiplayer mode: Total Conquest
- Much faster loading times and better graphics for online play
Finally, they say Rainbow Six Vegas 2 is looming large on the horizon; it's going to ship simultaneously for the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC this March.
