Dark Sector Hits UK On April 4, Demo In Mid-March
Action and gore aficionados are anxiously awaiting the release of Dark Sector, originally scheduled for January but recently delayed until March 25 for North America. Today, D3Publisher has told VideoGamer.com the dark and brutal title will hit UK store shelves not much later, on April 4.
In addition, they announced a playable demo will hit the PlayStation Store and Xbox Live Marketplace a few weeks before the game's release, some time in "mid-March." We assume they're referring to Europe because the rest of the article is about the UK release date, but perhaps North American gamers can expect this demo at about the same time. Just as a quick refresher, Dark Sector features Hayden Tenno, a CIA operative who doesn't take any crap from anybody. He'll have access to a wide variety of absolutely insane weapons, including the super-intense Glaive, which can be hurled using the after-touch feature (remember Heavenly Sword?). It certainly looks like a promising title, that's for sure.
We hope this delay is the first and last, and if it is, Dark Sector may become one heck of a must-have title for early spring.
