Lost Planet Multiplayer Demo on PSN Now

If you haven't logged onto the PlayStation Network store, you should. Capcom has dropped yet another really nice demo for us, this time Lost Planet: Extreme Condition. It's a muliplayer only demo, so you won't be able to check out the single-player portion of the game, but seeing as how much of Lost Planet's appeal is the online component, it's not such a big deal.

The demo is limited to 8 players, where as the final game supports up to 16 players. The map included is the Pirate Fortress level, and features Elimination (deathmatch) and Team Elimination modes. The final game will feature two additional online modes: Post Grab (Capture the Flag), and Fugitive (one against many).

The PS3 version of Lost Planet: Extreme Condition will feature every bit of downloadable content for the Xbox 360 version, in addition to a number of new additions, such as a new characters (Frank West, Mega Man, and Luka). And Luka has a quest of her own.

Look for Lost Planet to hit the PS3 on February 26th. And hopefully Capcom releases a single-player demo, as well.
