ESRB Listing Reveals New PSN Title
Along with retail inventory and pre-order pages, the ESRB listings are usually a great place to find hidden details for unannounced upcoming titles. This is because a publisher must reveal information to retailers ahead of time, and the title must receive a rating from the ESRB. No matter how badly the publisher wants to keep it a secret, there's no way to bypass these steps.
Taking this into account, onAXIS checked the latest ESRB listings and found an unknown PlayStation Network title: NovaStrike, developed by Tiki Games. From this screenshot, it appears to be a classic top-down shooter, which would be in stark contrast to Tiki's PSP RTS, Galaxy's End. In NovaStrike, players will fly around in a Scythe fighter, which you will use to combat an alien infestation. There will be enemy units on both the ground and in the air - how much does this sound like 1943? - and we're really looking forward to a game like this on the PSN.
The source says they can't reveal the full details on NovaStrike just yet, but we can certainly expect to see more information arrive "in the coming weeks." The more downloadable originals are available on the Store, the happier we are!
