Overlord Set To Invade PS3

Yep, another story about a game traveling to other platforms, and this time, it's Overlord. Previously only released for the Xbox 360 and PC, PS3Party has revealed that Triumph Studios plans to bring the game to the PS3.

After selling over one million copies, it's a logical move to want to expand the game's audience, and PS3 owners should be happy about this. While it didn't turn out to be a fantastic blockbuster, Overlord was still a solid action/adventure that allowed players to take control of a powerful - and ultra-evil - lord of the dark. There's a semblance of strategy to this title, too, as you will lead your minions into battle time and time again, issuing commands to the freaky, goblin-like infantry. You can also jump into the action and smash a few heads, but ultimately, your success will rely on your ability as an overlord general. It's always fun to play the role of a super villain, and Overlord lets you do just that; it's like playing as Sauromon from "Lord of the Rings!"

We have no information yet on a release date, but we imagine Overlord PS3 isn't too far off. We'd also like to know if this is a direct port, or if we can expect some additions and enhancements...we'd prefer the latter, of course.
